What Purpose Again is
A guided program helping you reflect, discover a Purpose Profile, and take steps toward meaningful participation. It is provided through a partner organisation that has an agreement with us. By creating an account or accepting an invitation, you agree to these terms.
What Purpose Again is not
Purpose Again is not a medical, mental-health, financial or crisis service, and nothing in it - including AI-assisted profiles and suggestions - is professional advice. If you are in crisis, call 000 in an emergency or Lifeline Australia on 13 11 14. Our distress-screening feature is a supportive prompt to a facilitator, not monitoring, diagnosis, or a guarantee of response.
Your account
You must be invited by a partner organisation (or by us). Keep your sign-in method secure and don't share codes or passwords. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. Social sign-in, where offered, must use an account whose email matches your invited email.
Your content
Your reflections belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy (including AI-assisted drafting and safety screening). We don't claim ownership, and we don't use your content to train AI models.
AI-assisted content
Purpose Profiles and pathway suggestions are generated with AI assistance, grounded in your own words, and subject to review processes. They are suggestions to consider, not directions to follow, and may occasionally be imperfect. You choose what to act on.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempting to access others' information, no probing or disrupting our systems, no automated scraping. We may suspend accounts that put other participants, partners, or the service at risk.
Pathways and third parties
Pathway listings (volunteering, community roles, activities) come from partners and public sources. We curate in good faith but don't control third-party organisations - verify details with them, and assess suitability for your own circumstances before participating.
Partner organisations
Your partner organisation manages your enrolment and sees the program information described in our Privacy Policy. Their staff are bound by confidentiality obligations in our agreements with them. If your enrollment ends, your account and your content remain yours.
Availability and changes
We aim for reliable service but don't promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve or change features, and may retire the service with reasonable notice, in which case we'll give you the opportunity to retrieve your content.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to resupply of the service / a capped amount of $2,000,000AUD. You use suggestions and pathways at your own judgment (see clauses 2, 5, 7).
Ending these terms
You can stop using Purpose Again and request deletion at any time. We can suspend or close accounts for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We'll notify you of material changes; continued use after notice is accepted.
